Student Health Insurance
Starting with fall 2010, MSU-Great Falls joined the Montana University System Student Insurance Program, which makes affordable health insurance available through the College for students taking 4 credits or more.
Students based in Montana, whether online or on campus, will see some questions about health insurance coverage to answer during registration online. Please refer to the links to the right for details about the plan.
The premium students will pay for the plan is $851 in the fall and $851 in the spring, for full calendar year coverage. Summer coverage is included in the spring premium. For new students beginning in summer, there are separate rates for summer coverage. Summer only coverage is optional. The premium can be included in financial aid, and students are encouraged to contact the Financial Aid office if they have questions about paying for the premium. All other questions about the insurance requirement should be directed to the Assistant Dean of Student Services.
