Definitions of Degrees Offered:

Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.): A degree in a specific technical career field that is designed to prepare students for immediate entry into employment but may be fully or partially transferable to programs at selected four-year institutions. Standard length of time for degree completion for a full-time student is 2-3 years.

Associate of Arts or Associate of Science (A.A. or A.S.): General transfer degrees indicating that the student has completed a course of study equivalent to the first two years of a Bachelor degree. Standard length of time for degree completion for a full-time student is 2-3 years.

Certificate (C): Programs taht provide training in specific skills for immediate entry into employment. Standard length of time for degree completion for a full-time student is 1-2 years.
