Preparing to Transfer
MSU-Great Falls College of Technology offers a number of transfer options including the General Education Core Transfer, the Associate of Science Degree, the Associate of Arts Degree, and various course recommendations and transfer agreements with Montana University System and private four-year schools. It is important to note that Baccalaureate requirements vary considerably among and within universities. ***In addition, the granting of transfer credits is determined by the receiving institution. Therefore, it is critical that students considering transfer speak to an advisor and research the educational requirements at the intended school.
There are a number of resources in the Career Library and the MSU-Great Falls COT Library that can be utilized when making transfer decisions such as books on programs available at 2- and 4-year schools, choosing a major, obtaining financial aid, and distance education programs available throughout the United States.
