Funded in part by a grant from the Montana Arts Council, the editors of MO: Writings from the River host and visit readings by writers across the state. Thus far the editors have brought MO in the form of public readings, to both the Missoula (March 2007) and the Helena (April 2007) areas. They have also arranged for monthly readings in Great Falls, at Hastings Hard Back Cafe, the second Thursday, 7:00 pm, September through May (with summers off).

Garth Whitson, owner of Shakespeare and Company, and staunch supporter of the creadive arts. Shakespeare and Company is one of the many fine independent booksellers throughout the state that stock MO.
