Get a Jump Start On Your Future...
For high school students seeking to get a jump start on college coursework, the College of Technology offers a variety of opportunities.
Early Admission: High school students may be admitted and allowed to register for college-level courses provided they are academically prepared. High school students may earn college-level credit to be applied to a degree at Montana State University-Great Falls College of Technology or to transfer to another college or university once they graduate from high school.
Dual Credit: The College of Technology has interlocal agreements with a number of Montana high schools. Ask your high school counselor about dual enrollment agreements between your high school and the College. Dual credit courses allow you, as a high school student, to take courses from the College at 1/3 the cost and have the credits accepted by both your high school and the College. Courses are offered both face to face and over the Internet to allow rural students to take advantage of this opportunity.
Check with your high school for other options such as Tech Prep and Med Prep.
