Upcoming Professional Development Opportunites
Fall 2011 Information:
New Adjunct Orientation: August 16 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. in room B139 on the MSUGF Campus. During this mandatory event for new adjuncts, we will spend time sharing important information and teaching resources. You’ll have a chance to meet your colleagues and spend some time learning to navigate and find your way around campus. There will also be training on how to use D2L, Banner, and Outlook. This training will be offered virtually via Adobe Connect. Please RSVP to Lorene Jaynes at ljaynes@msugf.edu by August 12. And, if you plan to attend virtually because you live out of the area, let Lorene know that as well. The PowerPoint Presentation used at the New Adjunct Orientation is available here.
Additional Required Professional Development for All Adjunct Faculty The Office of eLearning and The MSU-Great Falls’ Center for Teaching Excellence are excited to announce some very important teaching workshops for all faculty members. Details for each workshop are included in the attachment. All faculty (full-time and part-time) are required to attend the workshops, which have been scheduled to ensure everyone may attend. Remote access will be available and details will be sent closer to each session date. The full schedule and information is available here.
