Dear adjunct faculty,
I hope this letter finds you well and looking forward to a new year ahead! I wanted to let you know of the dates and times for the upcoming spring adjunct orientation sessions. The orientation is required for all adjunct faculty teaching with us spring semester 2009. You will be paid a $40 stipend for completing the orientation. You can choose to complete the orientation online or you can attend one of the face-to-face sessions on campus. You’ll be receiving a letter in the mail soon, with information specific to the sessions available to you.
Online orientation- This orientation is available from the adjunct faculty webpage: http://www.msugf.edu/facultystaff/Adjunct/index.htm
You can also access the webpage by visiting the www.msugf.edu homepage, clicking on “Faculty and Staff”, and then “Adjunct Faculty”. Please be sure you complete the orientation through to the end, where you’ll fill out a form on surveymonkey.com that verifies your orientation completion. If you choose this option, the orientation must be completed by the end of the day on Jan 31, 2009 to receive the $40 stipend for completing the orientation activity. When you complete the orientation online, your name will also be entered into a drawing for a small prize, donated by the COTtage Bookstore! Once you click “submit survey” from the “thank you” page, you’ll be taken to a separate survey requesting feedback from our adjunct faculty. The feedback survey is optional and anonymous; however I encourage you to participate!
Orientation on campus- There is one face-to-face session available for new adjunct and there are two face-to-face sessions available for returning adjunct faculty on the Great Falls campus:
· Jan 8, 2009 (new) 11:00 am- 1:00 pm (returning) 12:00 am- 1:00 pm G45/46
o A light lunch will be provided for you, so if you plan to attend this orientation please RSVP to me no later than 5:00 pm on Monday Jan 5, 2009.

Jan 12, 2009 (returning) 6:00 pm- 7:00 pm B135 (with coffee and
cookies);
o Please RSVP to me by Friday Jan 9, 2009 if you plan to attend this orientation.
