Deborah Newton
I have been teaching full-time for the
College
of
Technology
for 13
years. When I started, I lived in
Great Falls
and taught on campus. Six years ago, I moved to
New
Mexico
and since that time, I have taught all of
my classes online. I am the Program Director for the Medical
Transcription, Medical Administrative Assistant and Medical Billing
programs.
I have a diverse background, with education in Biology,
Chemistry and Forensic Anthropology. I recently completed a doctorate
in Curriculum and Instruction. I have worked as a Paramedic, Health
Insurance Auditor, and Forensic Anthropologist, among other things; the
stereotypical “jack of all trades.”
My husband and I currently live in
Alamogordo
,
New Mexico
with three dogs and two
llamas. While we enjoy the warm weather here, we miss
Montana
and hope to move back up that way in the future. Until then, I feel
very lucky to be able to continue my association with the College via the
Internet.
