Jeff Brown

I am currently in my twelfth year as a professor at MSU-Great Falls College of Technology and am the program director for the Microcomputer Support program.

I completed my undergraduate degree (computer engineering) at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York in 1985 and my graduate degree (business administration) at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington in 1990.  I spent five years as an Army officer and four years in several different management and teaching positions prior to moving to Great Falls in 1994.  I love my job and the state of Montana.  I am not a native Montanan, but it sure feels like home.

I am married to a wonderful wife and we celebrated our 20th anniversary on June 8th.  I have a 15 year old son who is a sophomore at CMR High School and a 13 year old daughter who is an 8th grader at North Middle School.  My hobbies include fishing, hunting, camping, squash (a racquet sport played on a court similar to a racquetball court), and baseball (go Mariners!).  I am also involved in several ministries at Valley Community Bible Church.

I enjoy teaching both on campus and online courses and feel that the Internet is a valuable tool for both formats.  I look forward to getting to know you in one of my classes.
