ChemTutor - Contains a large amount of helpful information for students taking a high school or college-level chemistry course.  Highly Recommended!

ACS Animated Periodic Table - This animated periodic table shows the different classifications of elements, such as metals, nonmetals, metalloids, etc.  The Shockwave Plug-in is required, and is available for download on the linked page.

ChemCool - Chemistry resource that covers basic information. 
 
National Mole Day Foundation, Inc. - Homepage of the National Mole Day Foundation.  
National Mole Day is celebrated each October 23rd, from 6:02 AM to 6:02 PM.

Chemistry Humor Page - A Yahoo! directory listing several sites for the chemist with a sense of humor (Yes, we do exist!).  
Includes chemistry Christmas carols and more!

OMLeT - The Online Metabolic Learning Tool - A great illustration of the chemistry behind several metabolic processes, including glycolysis and the citric acid cycle.

Glacial Lake Missoula and the Ice Age Floods - A new website with information regarding Glacial Lake Missoula and the floods that changed the landscape of eastern Washington.

Mount Saint Helens National Volcanic Monument - Has a great deal of information about Mount Saint Helens and is updated frequently.  Also has the official Mount Saint Helens VolcanoCam! (Camera view is subject to the local weather conditions.)

Alaska Volcano Observatory - Has information concerning ongoing volcanic activity in Alaska and Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula.

United States Forest Service

Frank Potter's Science Gems - A site that has a lot of links to websites for physical science, earth science/geology, and more for any level.

Space.com - Contains a large amount of information on space exploration, including articles and photo galleries.  This site is updated frequently, and has a lot of information on the Mars rovers, comets and asteroids, and the ongoing Cassini exploration of Saturn.

Earth and Moon Viewer - You can view the earth as it appears at this moment from space.  The moon can be viewed from different angles.

National Weather Service

Montana Water Information System - Contains data on water resources, climate, etc.

Montana Current Drought Conditions - A regularly-updated site with information on drought conditions across Montana and the United States.

Montana Streamflow Information - A real-time site with information on current streamflow at USGS gauging stations across Montana.
