| March 9 | Print/online ads placed; Website ready to be operational |
| March 9 - April 26 | Active recruiting (will continue until filled) |
| April 27 | Target date for receipt of applications |
April 30 |
Committee members receive training from search consultant, review applications in group setting, discuss applicants and select interviewees |
| May 7 | Committee interviews semi-finalists and recommends finalists |
| Early May | Search Firm conducts in-depth reference checks |
| Mid May | Reference Reports shared with President Cruzado |
| May 16-18 | Campus Forums for finalists; Interviews with President Cruzado |
| Late May | President makes recommendation to Commissioner of Higher Education |
| July 1 | New CEO/Dean assumes position |
